The OSR is involved in many observation networks at the regional, national, European and international levels, whose general objectives are to contribute to the monitoring and understanding of the functioning of the critical zone and its evolution under strong climatic and anthropic pressures. For instance, the OSR contributes to the THEIA CES (scientific expertise centers): irrigation, snow, land occupancy, surface humidity, etc.
